NO MORE ANONYMITY
If one of the points of using Quora is to build your personal brand, then why was it possible to answer questions anonymously? According to Quora, it wanted to protect users who were worried about harassment if they answered under their real name, among other reasons. However, Quora decided that too many people were violating policies, so this feature is now gone.
To be considered an expert on a topic, you need to be knowledgeable enough that you can take a position and defend it–and you should be willing to do this publicly.
EARN MONEY FOR ANSWERING QUESTIONS
Quora+ is a subscription program that allows users to access more content and unlock an ad-free version of Quora. Creators can enroll in the earnings program in Quora+ to make money based on user engagement with their content.
Creators also can put their content behind dynamic or adaptive paywalls. To increase your earnings potential, you should consider a niche topic and post on a regular basis to get your content pushed to the top.
