(FITCHBURG, Wis.) – The Fitchburg Senior Center, located at 5510 Lacy Rd., is seeking to raise $50,000 to build a patio that will help improve the mental and physical health of the aging community.
“Our center has seen an increase in demand for more outdoor programming and activities,” Jill McHone, director of the Fitchburg Senior Center, said. “We need support from local businesses and individuals to help make this important gathering space a reality.”
The outdoor patio will include a shade structure and an area for live music and group activities.
The senior center is looking to complete its fundraising campaign by Sept. 30. Individual sponsorship levels range from $25-$1,000, and corporate contributions range from $250-$25,000. All donations will go directly to the project and can be made in the form of credit card or check.
